The Arabic Papyrology Database is a tool enabling you to access the editions of Arabic documents written on different material such as papyrus, parchment or paper. Those productive editions are an often unraised treasure for almost every aspect of Islamic history up to the 16th c. A.D. The APD comprises a total of 12751 documents. For 4250 out of these, we give both the full text and the metadata, while for 8501, we give the metadata only. The tool 'Documents' allows to search for documents and read their text in different layers. The tool 'Text' accesses single words or combinations of words - perfect for investigating linguistic peculiarities. The tool 'Lexicon' gives you direct access to all of the lexicon, incl.   مجموعة وثائق الجينيزا بجامعة برينستون The Princeton Geniza Lab is a collaborative space housed in the Department of Near Eastern Studies, devoted to making the documentary texts of the Cairo Geniza accessible to scholars and the wider pu blic.   Mamluk Bibliography Online The Chicago Online Bibliography of Mamluk Studies is an on-going project of the Middle East Documentation Center at the University of Chicago, the aim of which is to compile comprehensive bibliographies of all primary sources relating to the Mamluk sultanate of Egypt and Syria, as well as all research and discussion--scholarly and popular--germane to the subject. The project takes the form of two bibliographies: the primary and the secondary. The information in the bibliographies can be accessed in multiple ways. Search allows the user to search for authors and/or titles. Subject Guide Browse allows the user to browse lists of subject categories within the bibliographies.   «الآثار والحضارة الإسلامية في بخارى» للدكتور أحمد رجب محمد، كلية الآثار، جامعة القاهرة، ومدير المركز الثقافي المصري بطشقند سابقًا. والكتاب في جزأين تحت عنوان أكثر شمولية: «موسوعة الآثار والحضارة الإسلامية في مدن طريق الحرير». وصدر الكتاب (الجزأن) في عام 2017م، عن مركز الكويت للفنون الإسلامية. أهم ما يميز الكتاب هو التركيز على نطاق جغرافي محدد هو - مدينة بخارى - في أوزبكستان، واحدة من أهم مدن بلاد ما وراء النهر كما شاع تسميتها. وهو مفيد جدًا في أجزاء كثيرة منه، وإن كان بعض النقاط جاءت مقتضبة جدًا لكن هو مرجع مهم باللغة العربية؛ في نطاق جغرافي كُتبت أكثر مراجعه باللغة الروسية وبالتالي فقيمة مضافة إلى قيمته العلمية هو اللغة المنشور فيها. الجزء الأول مكون من ثلاث فصول: الفصل الأول: تاريخ بخارى عبر العصور يبدو الفصل الأول كتمهيد تاريخي مختصر ومهم لأهم الأسرات الحاكمة في إقليم آسيا الوسطى وبالتالي لمدينة بخارى، ولا يتطرق للحكام المحليين للمدينة أو المكلفين بالإدارة من قبل الدولة. بداية من الفتح الإسلامي لبخارى مرورًا بـ بخارى تحت حكم السامانيين، والقراخانيون والغونويون والسلاجقة، والغز...

  «Resources for the study of Islamic Architecture», Historical Section. 1994 كتاب مميز ومهم ولا غنى عنه كمصدر أساسي مساعد على اكتشاف ومعرفة الدراسات السابقة في مجال العمارة الإسلامية بشكل عام. ويقع الكتاب في 414 صفحة وهو عبارة عن قائمة ببليوجرافية لأهم الدراسات الأجنبية الخاصة بالعمارة الإسلامية مقسمة وفقًا للإطار الجغرافي والزمني. الكتاب يعتبر قسمين؛ الأول: ثبت مرجعي مقسم لأهم المصادر والمراجع والمعاجم بشكل عام ولكل بلد بشكل مركز. والقسم الأكبر والأهم مقسم جغرافيًا لأهم الدراسات التي تناولت العمارة الإسلامية في كل إقليم وبلد.ولمصر نصيب كبير فيه. الكتاب صادر في عام 1994م وبالتالي فأحدث مراجعه لن يتعدى سنة 1993م وبالتالي فعلى الباحث أن يستكمل الدراسات السابقة الخاصة بتخصصه واهتمامه بعد ذلك من مصادر أخرى مختلفة. الكتاب صادر عن برنامج مؤسسة الآغا خان في هارفارد ومعهد ماساتشوستس للتكنولوجيا كوثيقة مرجعية للمعلمين والباحثين في العمارة الإسلامية.
